Argh!  I’ve been unable to access my website today.  For whatever reason, my computer is locking me off the Internet.  I so do not need this complication right now.  Although that’s fairly idiotic as I doubt anyone ever sits around and thinks, “Geeze, now would be a good time for my Internet/computer to go belly up.”  So, I still don’t know what’s wrong with mine, but I’m making do on Girl’s…even though I loathe the touch of her keyboard…ah, the sacrifices I make to post.;(

Incredibly busy day.  Early morning kickboxing class which was more of strength training and i am now the unofficial Queen of Squats.:o 

No time for a shower and then it’s soccer games for Girl.  I possess a negative measure of athletic ability.  Remember in middle school the kid that was picked last when teams were divvied up?  Uh…yeah…that’d be me.  “Okay, we’ll take her, but you have to give us two points up front.”  No lie.  I suck at team sports and anything requiring much in the way of hand-eye-coordination.  We WILL NOT discuss basketball, kickball, aerobics, or jazzercise, thank you very much.  Anyway, genetics being what it is, Girl got lucky and inherited her father’s athletic genes.:)  She is a beautiful sight to behold on a soccer field.  Color me wierd parent living vicariously, but every time she makes some cool move on the field, I’m pinching myself beccause…well, I’m spastic and this is my offspring that moves with such command and power and grace.

Lunch afterwards with my friend who is as much an anomoly among the suburban soccer moms as I am.  She went to Italy over Spring Break and I was jonesing to see her pictures and hear about her trip.  It’s horrible.  I’m already suffering extreme travel lust and to see and hear about Florence, Sorrento, and Rome…it was wonderful.

Came home. Cut the grass. Blew off the decks and front porch.  Dragged the dh out to shop for new deck furniture for the deck off my bedroom which I envision as yet one more reading room….(y)
