Who’d have thunk a guy in eyeliner with gold teeth and dirty fingernails could be so “shiver me timbers” sexy? Yowza. Yep, you don’t have to be Einstein to figure out we went to see POC, Dead Man’s Chest last night. :p
I enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining but really, Depp just steals the show with sheer force of character. My girl is an Orlando Bloom fan and I like him well enough although he’s a bit fresh-faced and young for me. Will Turner’s erstwhile-ness grates on me a bit while Jack Sparrow’s machinations are much more appealing. Sparrow is the ultimate unwilling hero. And Johnny…well, he’s quite brilliant really.

:x Orlando cranks my tractor, of course he would be too young for me. But hey, a girl can dream (l) Have a great day.

I’ve now got a foot firmly in both Johnny and Orli camps.
You’re right, Jen — it’s amazing that Jack can be so appealing, but he is. What did you think of the two ‘intimate’ conversations between Jack and Elizabeth on the deck of the Pearl (the second one was just before she handcuffed him)?
If I’d been any more liquid, I’d have been poured over the popcorn.
Oh, yeah…

Ginger and Kim, they are a sexy swashbuckling duo, eh?
Kris, those two are the scenes that stand out the most for me. “I’m the captain of this ship. I could perform…a marri-age.” that hesitation, that look. (l) (l) (l) OMG!
Kris, YOU HAVE to watch The Libertine before you board that plane for Atlanta. We must discuss.

Aye, aye, Cap’n Jen!
I’ll rent the movie this weekend, I think. I was planning to do some video watching anyway, and I guess you can twist my arm to watch The Libertine…

I haven’t seen the first one yet :o I know. Lots tell me all I’m missing. Hubby says it should be on HBO so i’ll record it and hopefully see it soon. But I heard that the end leaves you hanging for the third part. For me its like a trilogy. I want them all out, then I’ll read them! :)

Kris, you’ll thank me…well, except for the end which is rather painful. ;(
Cathie, don’t wait. I know what you mean about that trilogy thing, but really, just watch now…and then again later. Bloom and Depp. It’s well worth the viewing.
