…while I bang my head against a wall.
Two weeks into school and The Girl is home with probable strep – horridly sore throat and stomach ache (her classic symptoms). We’re waiting on a call from the pediatrician so we can go in for the swabbing.
Ack, ack, and ack. This is precisely why we yanked the tonsils out this past April (yes, the doctor’s office had to talk me into it and assured me it would end our strep saga). Now here we go with the antibiotics again, which I HATE giving. Plus, at the risk of sounding like a self-absorbed, insensitive mom, I have a ton of work to do.
Yep, I’ll just find a nice, solid wall….

Stay strong my sister :s . Wish I knew what kind of advice to give on this one. I deal with taking my son every 2 - 3 weeks for allergy shots. I leave Birmingham, drive to Gardendale, 30 mintues, pick him up, drive back into Birmingham for shots, which can take from 1 - 2 hours in the doctors office. Yahoo! Anyhow, have a great Monday.

Poor Girl! I cannot imagine why she seems to get this all the time. Bless her heart. And yours, too. It’s bad when you’ve got work bearing down on you and a sick baby to boot.

Thanks for the encouragement. It’s not strep! (y) Hallelujah! She still feels lousy but the doctor thinks it’s ragweed making her miserable. She starts a nasal spray for allergens tonight. Ginger, the allergy shots sound miserable but I know it’s even worse without them.
