Apparently counter-culture figure Marilyn Manson is having a “mid-life crisis.”
For some reason I find it hysterically funny that a guy who’s donned make-up and gone out of his way to embrace weird is indulging in something so average and typical as a mid-life crisis — but hey, I’d peg dumping your 30-something wife for a 19-year old qualifies.
For once I agree with Rosie O’Donnell re: American Idol.
That’s scary because for the most part I wish Rosie would shut up and go away. Donald Trump too. That’s my version of Hell — to be stuck in a room with those two.
I’ve “discovered” Ugly Betty. Not because of the Golden Globes but because Style channel did a piece on the show tonight and I was intriqued so I had to watch the first new episode tonight. I’m hooked. I’ll be tuning in at 8 next Thursday. Anyone else out there a fan?
I ran four miles last night.
Not setting any speed records, but I was just pleased to break the 5K barrier. :dog:
“Divine guidance often comes when the horizon is the blackest.” Ghandi Not that I felt that it was indicative of my state of mind that I’ve taped that to my computer screen while I continue to slog through revisions.
David Beckham is hot. Not quite sure what exactly it is about him but…wow. Here’s a Vanity Fair cover from a couple of years ago. Enjoy.
Have a lovely weekend!![]()

David Beckham is hot. If they’d take that silly white thing off his head, he’d be every wet dream I’ve ever had.
Umm, can you make the cover a bit bigger?

Ugly Betty is a great show. They had the original in the Spanish TV Telemeundo Channel, about 5 years ago. I was hook from the beginning to the end. It is a fun show.:cooldance:
Have a great weekend, :cocktail:

Love Ugly Betty, and I saw it from the 1st episode. Not sure on Beckham but that’s okay. There are plenty of others that I drool over anyways. I could care less about Rosie or Donald, they need to get a life. Congratulations on the running, you go girl!!! Have a wonderful weekend.

Jen, Thursdays are TV heaven for me. I watch Ugly Betty, then Grey’s Anatomy–which I can miss, ’cause it’s not a have-to-see-it for me–then Men In Trees, which I love.
Lost comes back in February with 16 straight shows–no repeats. I will be parked in front of the TV in my bedroom for that every Wednesday, I can promise you. I *love* that show. :-)
Rosie and The Donald get on my nerves, too, but I do agree with her about the Idol judges. They’re being too harsh. It’s not cool. I always liked Idol because I could watch it with the kids, but it’s getting to the point where I can’t do that anymore. Ticks me off. :cursing:

LOL, Barbara that your hubster doesn’t visit this blog. :happy2:
Ginger, if I weren’t so stinking broke I’d see if I couldn’t find UB first season on dvd (if they even have it available). that’s how much I liked it.
Rhonda, I felt like such a real person cause I actually adjusted my schedule around watching a t.v. program.
