Staying Safe

I don’t dare go out in public today out of fear for my personal safety.

Dead-ass center between my eyebrows and half an inch up on my forehead is a huge zit which alarmingly resembles a bulls-eye. Given that there are more trucks than cars in my suburban paradise and hunting is a big deal out here in the hinterlands, I fear being mistaken for a moving target.

Nope. I’m not budging from my small castle today.

  3. At least it showed up after Valentine’s day…if you go out, just be sure to wear a neon orange jacket so they can see you.

    You got that right, Kimberly, it is friggin’ cold outside. Like a dummy I walked out in a hoodie to take Girl to school. BRRRR.

  7. I swear by Noxzema for zits. Have any of that on hand? Good luck with that zit and stay warm, brrrrr it’s cold and that’s saying alot for me.

    Your blog always brightens my day, Jen! I am just getting over a lovely coldsore on my lip, so there wasn’t much to talk about yesterday… But it was a very nice Valentine’s Day, anyhow.

    …and here I thought you were afraid to go to the mall because of the scary people :bat: like in SLC Utah..

    Proceed with caution (love the orange jacket idea… but get out there and do whatcha like.

    See, I always knew I wasn’t just a PITA when I said I hated going to the mall. You need to stay away as well, Ellen. Sorry about the cold sore. That bites!
