My New Best Friend

Her name is Sonata. One little pill. No waking up at 3 a.m. and not going back to sleep. I wake up at 3, look at the clock, roll over and back to snoozeland. It’s lovely. Two 8-hour night of sleep in a row and I damn near didn’t recognize myself in the bathroom mirror. Sleep is an amazing, wonderful thing.

  3. I’m contemplating a wee nap…but I don’t think I can justify it.

  5. I am glad to hear that you are getting some much needed sleep. Have you ever heard of, or tried melatonin? It’s an all-natural sleep aid that you can buy OTC. A friend was telling me about it just recently (she was actually using it for her young children who have trouble getting to sleep). You can find out more on www.melatonin.com. FYI.

    I DO love a good night’s sleep…

  6. Rhonda, your doc can hook you up.

Barbara and Ginger, it is a wonderful thing. Amazing what a difference it makes to my mindset.

LOL, Kimberly, seems kidna early for a nap.

Hmm, Ellen, I might give the melatonin a try but so far I’ve seen no adverse effects to the Sonata. and I never have trouble falling asleep…it’s the staying asleep that’s an issue. :wallbash:

  7. It’s never to early for a nap! (crawl out of bed, dress and feed assorted people, send them on their merry way, and go back under the duvet where it’s nice and cozy  )

Keeps me from suffering the horror of having my own book put me to sleep later in the day :fryingpan:

  8. I have a sleep disorder called restless leg syndrome and until it was diagnosed and I was put on medication, I spent many well… restless nights and then felt like crap the next day. Day after day after night after night. Now I take my meds (two different ones) and I sleep like a drugged baby. But I sleep and that’s the important part. Sleep deprivation can cause all sorts of other nasties and you don’t want that.

Glad you got your problem remedied.

  11. Winner? Goodies? I must’ve missed that day. Sleep is good. I can sleep through anything. DB will wake up if a mouse sneezes and can’t go back to sleep.
