Sad but true. What happened to the days of bicycles and shoe leather? My mother never drove me anywhere. Of course back in the olden days kids weren’t involved in everything imaginable either. We pretty much hung around the neighborhood for the summer and our big summer activity was Vacation Bible School.

I waste hours of my day in the car…er mini van. Growing up, I swore I’d never own one. Oh, how things change. :fryingpan:

I know I log half my life in my car…and I’ve only got one kid. :wallbash:

It’s insane, I tell ya. :wallbash: I’ve tried to share rides with different Moms and am amazed when a Mom lets the kids decide that they want ‘Mom’ to drive them all the time, and Mom agrees. (I am talking 4-8th grade, NOT pre-school.) Surely, they can find quality mother/daughter time elsewhere!

That’s crazy, Ellen. :wallbash:
