I Forgot…

…just how much I LOVE to read!! I spent Saturday cleaning and organizing my office, blowing the decks, and vaccuming the house. Saturday evening Girl and the DH took off for the dirt track races. The house was mine! My time was mine!

I could go shopping.

I could go see Pirates III.

I could go out to eat!

I could…READ!

I tuned into my favorite jazz radio station (which everyone else in this house loathes), lit a couple of nice candles, poured a glass of wine and planted my butt on the couch.:love2:

It was wonderful! And Sunday I just did more of the same (er, foregoing the radio statio and the wine:mrgreen:).

What about you? Read any good books lately? Did something you haven’t had time to do in a while and remembered how much you enjoyed it? (Hey! Keep it clean!!)

  1. I read Sabrina JeffrieS’ BEWARE A SCOT’S REVENGE on the flight home from Glasgow. Wonderful book and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

  3. I read my first Suzanne Brockmann book a week or so ago and now I want more. Lately I’ve been dedicating the weekends to just reading. I do so love to lose myself in a good book by the pool.

  7. I couldn’t limit myself to the weekends, no how, no way. I would go stir crazy. I just finished the NASCAR books for May. Prior to that I read Kate Angell’s “Curveball” and I enjoyed it and some Thea Devine publications. Thanks to all of you ladies for letting my imagination run free

I also just recently finished the two new books on the midnight series by Lara Adrian- ” Kiss of Midnight and Kiss of Crimson” These books were pretty good. I can’t wait for the next one :cooldance:
