This is just weird. I can’t figure it out. I am not a fashionista. In fact, I’m the one that always looks slightly askew. I don’t particularly like to watch television. Why, then do I LOVE to watch America’s Next Top Model? 
I dunno. But I do.
Yes, the one that would’ve been voted the least likely to tune into ANTM, can and does spend hours in front of the tube watching episode after episode. It’s not even the sexiness of Nigel Barker that keeps me there for hours because we just don’t see that much of him. I love the behind the scenes interplay between the girls, the modeling challenges, the clothes, the makeup, even the feedback the judges give them. It makes me wish I weren’t too old, too short, too heavy and too average because I think it would kick to do the high-fashion couture work.
Alas, I am too old, too short, too heavy and lack exquisite bone structure (although I did take a relativley great driver’s license pic despite the fact the dvm wasn’t offering glamour shots or photo retouching — bastards), therefore I will continue to 
.
And are there any other Nigel Barker fans out there? (If my fickin;-frackin’ image manager was working I’d treat us all to a pic of the lovely Brit.)
So what show is surprisingly appealling to you? C’mon now, it’s time to air our dirty t.v.-viewing laundry. 
Out of all the thigns on TV, I have to admit it literally blows my mind that THIS is the show you’re going to watch.
I swear, I will turn you into a Lost convert yet. I’m think Season 1 on DVD at our next Posse meeting might be in order. Then you could lust with me after Matthew Fox.

I too will never be on that show. I recall once where they had their first plus size model and she was an 8. 8! If I was an 8, I’d be a rail. Guess they don’t want an actual plus size model to model for plus size women. Ok, off my

I’m hooked on House and yes Dr. House at that. His attitude reminds me of my sister Jennifer. Take NO prisoners. And my favorite comes on tonight, CSI Miami.

I’m not allowing myself to pick up any new TV shows, so the models are safe from me. (And my eating disorder is healthy enough right now–I don’t need any help there.)
But why do I find the call of Law and Order reruns so darn tempting?

See, I’ve never watched even one episode of Lost, House, or Law and Order.
Andrea, ya know, you see all those uber skinny chicks together and you get a skewed sense of comparison. There was one that was looking kinda hippy and like she needed to be doing some crunches to me. One of her feedbacks was she needed to work on her weight. Uh…she said she didn’t know what to do since she was already a size…2. So the one that actually looked bony on camera must’ve been a double zero or something. Yeah, I never considered an 8 plus sizing.

My daughter is a 0. Can you believe she came from me? #4 is upset because she’s a 7. (So she starts thinking she’s fat, which is far from the truth. She’s solid muscle but has a bigger bone structure than #2.)
I’m excited about Heroes, Supernatural, Chuck, Journey Man, Moonlight, Bionic Woman, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and yes, I watch ANTM and Project Runway too. Y’all need to check out the cutie playing Chuck tonight at 7 p.m. He was on the Today show today and Yawza!! Tall, dark and very handsome. I don’t even know his name yet. KaZING!!!

Back in the day when I actually got control of the remote and occasionally watched TV, I got hooked on Degrassi: The Next Generation (it’s a Canadian show about high-school kids that’s pretty popular up here — and I know it’s gaining popularity in the US too…
