It’s raining (HALLELUJAH). The two greyhounds go out into the fenced yard to do their business because that’s what a dog does — rain or not. The Chihuahua? She stands beneath the overhang looking like, “Hey, didn’t you notice it’s raining? Let me back in. I can find a nice spot inside the dry house to do my business.” Honest. She just stands there. She’d stand there all day. So…I go out in the rain with her. It’s not enough that I stand on the lower deck. I’ve got to traipse out in the yard with her. Finally, she goes…then she dashes back up to the back door and looks at me like, “Hel-lo, fool! It’s raining out there. Let’s go in.”
Where’d we go wrong with this little dog?

I couldn’t tell ya. You know my dog has issues.

My one dog refuses to go outside unless its a sunny and clear 78 degrees with a slight breeze. I usually drag him out by the harness and have to stand out there with him. Otherwise, he’ll just stay in the house and make good use of my new kitchen rug. If he didn’t have those sad boxer eyes, I swear…

I’m glad I’m not the only one with dog and rain issues. Much like your boxer with the sad eyes, Andrea, I think we got into this mess cause she’s too darn cute. How could you not spoil rotten a dog that looks like a fruit bat?
