A Series of Mistakes

Mistake #1: Bumbling downstairs at 11:15 to say goodnight to the DH (should’ve shouted it from the top step like I usually do.).

Mistake #2: Plopping down on the couch between two dogs and getting sucked into numerous Tivo’ed episodes of COPS.

Mistake #3: Indulging in Mistake #2 until 12:45 a.m.

Mistake #4: Squinting at the clock at 5:30 a.m. and thinking, “It’d be better if I slept for just one more hour.”

Next glance at clock. 7:30.

  1. Don’t you just love those mornings where you hit the ground running? Adrenalin rush to start the day…

  2. This is what I have to say to everyone when I’ve been up to late and I have to get up early and get people off for the day. I know it’s not nice but no sleep and rushing make Kathy a mean girl.

  3. Too funny already this morning. . I have already put 2 pots of coffee on, not for me, faculty staff. 1 pot of tea, for me. I have room checked 4 floors, put WSJ in boxes, ran 2 tests, copier jam, put in call to book rep., book room, check email and several other small chores in the past 2 hours…I generally hit the ground running. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

  4. I’m a morning person so I usually hit it running, Kimberly. Just don’t like to run it late.

LOL, Kathy, I do best if I get to bed on time.

Ginger! I only thought I hit the ground running. Makes me tired just to read what you’ve done. Take a break, girl. Drink that tea.
