Yesterday morning I was upstairs, the glasses were downstairs. I thought I turned the heat to 62. Later in the morning I went back upstairs and it was pretty darn cold. Not only was it decidedly chilly but I could feel a blast of COLD air hitting me in my face. This time I had on my glasses. Yep, you guessed it. I’d turned on the air conditioning. All the heat from the downstairs was rising and the ac was kicking in to cool it back down. Nothing like cooling down the house in the middle of winter. ![]()

Oh, Jen, this sounds like something I would do.

And that is the exact reason I’m not allowed to touch the thermostat in our house.
Seriously.
I’ve touched it twice in the seven years we’ve been here, and both times I was on the phone with DG at the time…

Unfortunately, Rhonda, it’s fairly par for my course.
See, Kimberly, maybe it’s the phone time with the DG that’s distracting you.
