I don’t like half-assed either, but I dislike direct confrontation. So, I’d do it the “Southern Way”:

“Honey, when are you going to make your side of the bed?” (blink in innocence)

“I already did.”

“Really? I was just in there and it wasn’t made.” (More blinking.)

And so on, until he figures it out.

This, of course, will never happen in my house, because 1) I don’t care if beds get made and 2) DG is totally oblivious to many things, including most of my hint dropping…

This is a hot button with me. I cannot stand half-ass. If you’re going to take the time to do something, then do it right. (Especially since he knows how to do it.)

I myself would go with option 3. I used to be like that but now, my bed generally gets made up on the day that I change the sheets, usually every Sunday. But in my situation I am the only person in the house and very seldom have anyone over…. .
