May 30, 2005The Sentiment Behind the HolidayWishing everyone a safe holiday as we all reflect on the men and women who are daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers, just like us, who serve in the military. This morning my heart is with the soldiers patroling the dangerous streets of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan. Regardless of whether I embrace our military presence in these countries, I embrace the man and women serving there and offer a prayer of safe-keeping. Jen |
