It’s official…I’m now registered for a half-marathon.:o Trust me when I say there’s a LONNNGGG way for me to go between now and then.:s It’s in March so I’ve got some training time and it’s cooling down so the idea of running doesn’t totally ack me out (HATE to run when it’s ninety-something degrees and ninety percent humidity — ewww).
I actualy plan to walk it because my friend Susan who said, “Hey, let’s do this half-marathon.” is walking it. I haven’t seen her in over a year — it’ll be a year and a half by then (and she’s flying in from California for a couple of days so we can do this, how cool is that!) — and she’s walking it. But I want to train for it like I’m gonna run it so that I have that option.
